"I was brought up in the shadow of Rugby Park and started attending games with my late father during the glorious 1960’s. I attended all the home games in the wonderful run to the semi final of the Fairs Cities Cup (now the Europa League) and still have those programmes as well as the one when Killie played Real Madrid in the European Cup! Sadly it was really downhill for the club for a while until I sensed the revival under the late great Tommy Burns.
I have been a season ticket holder for over 20 years and joined the Killie Trust as the current Chairman of KFCSA, having been a Committee member of that organisation for over four years. I introduced my daughter to supporting Killie and she describes the 18th of March 2012 as one of the best days of her life! I have worked locally all my life and am a partner in the legal firm of McSherry Halliday which has offices in Kilmarnock, Irvine and Troon."
