Get yourself tickets for the Sports Bar on 4th September for an epic double header! First up is Gordon Strachan and his boys, hoping to take us three points closer to Euro Championship qualification joy versus Georgia. Then The Killie Trust hope to take us five comics closer to a more instant state of joy with an evening of laughter as the Trust comedy nights return with Stand Up (If You Love Killie) 9.
Compering the night is Chris Conroy, top Scottish comic and one third of the well-received but now seemingly defunct Trampled Bat Podcast. On the bill is Scottish Comedys own Santa Claus, the one and only Graham Mackie. Plus Suzie McCabe, who will literally be fresh from this years Edinburgh festival where she is performing her solo show this August. We also have Chris Henry, a headline act whose cheeky charming style will go down a treat in the Sports Bar, and finally perennial newcomer John Speirs who has just had another wean, expect him to mention it.
A cracking line up folks for a cracking night celebrating Scottish success on all fronts.
Tickets are available now, £17.50 which will get you a good view of a big telly to watch Scotland at 5pm and a full comedy night kicking off at half 7 as well as a pie (Killie Pie, of course) and a pint.
